I just got my flyer for Hobby Lobby and they are having a 50% off sale on just about everything scrapbook related, papers, stickers, die cuts, albums, also Ink Pads and rubber stamps, and photo storage boxes.
They have a 1/2 floral sale, 66% of selectd home accents, 1/2 of some frames, 1/3 of yarn and furniture and fashion fabrics. There's more... but this should be enough to have us all running to HL tomorrow... with the rest of the mad crafters!
I know I seen it too. Looks huge. I've been wanting to do some stamping. I might have to go get some.
Hobby Lobby here I come! Who can resist 50% off?? I went this morning and got some misc.stickers, and a sheet of baseball tag stickers (so cute!) I also got some ink pads, some misc. patterned paper , and a couple of packages of blues cardstock. I seem to go through that color a lot. Plus, I always have to check out the clearance,,got some cute Jolees things...hehe...but HEY, I only spent $25! I am feeling absolutely NO guilt here! This is driving me crazy!!! The nearest Hobby Lobby is an hour away. I get off work at 5:30 (if all the parents show up on time) and DS has games two nights this week, one night is the Girl Scout end of year banquet, and I promised to teach a scrapbook class for a friend's little shop she has started on Thursday night. I'm not going to get there until Saturday and everything will be really picked-over. Waaaaaa.......... But, it does make me feel good to know those of you that got to go got some real good buys. I went too, though I stuck to my vow of buying NO MORE PAPER! I have my scrap Friday night after all. I loaded up on stickers and embellishments for my money. I was looking for a ph pen but they said they don't carry them.
I'm sure you'll haave a great time Firday night. Our monthly crop is Saturday. Our group has volunteered to work with the 4-H kids taking the scrapbook project. they will be at the crop at 9:30. Several of our members have donated paper, stickers, adhesive and embellishments from their stash. We're going to teach them the basics at this crop and show them how to use the sizzix for die-cuts. I hope I have enough supplies to have them do a "Me Page" this time. We won't know for sure how many will be there until they show up. Next month when we meet again, we're going to have them bring in their albums and more pictures. I've been looking for 4-H paper without luck. I'd like for them to be able to do a page about the workshop and their projects. Sandy
