You can use real pillowcases, or material. This is perfect if you come upon a pillowcase with embroidery on it, or a fancy laced hem (like the vintage ones). The flowered pillowcases also make adorable summer dresses for babies, and toddlers, or you can put a long-sleeved shirt under it for cooler days.
How is your ugly quilt coming?
Jan I did get my ugly squares cut out but to be honest I haven't sewn them together as my right arm form the breast reconstruction still has lousy range of motion, Alan is going to have me lay out the blocks and take a pic...some aren't so ugly and might end up in a pretty pile....hehehehe. I've had one saline fill up so far since the reconstruction and it's painful at times.
