Kellie, I have to agree with you! It's an absolutely *gorgeous* quilt with breathtaking quilting -- and I'd prefer another color. LOL!

Well, she must love lime green as much as Jeanne- here's another of her quilts called It Ain't East Being Green. It's just as gorgeous as Key Lime Pie and just as lime.

She must also love feathered stars! Both of those quilts had them. :)

I don't like greens as a rule, but that one really is done well! I love all the feathery quilting. mmmm, yummy!

awwwwww, Leslie, thanks for think'n of me when you found this. aint it just gooooooorgeous!!!!! anyone who thinks this LIME quilt is not beautiful is out of their mind. ya dont gotta love LIME like i do to think its beautiful either. LIME LIME LIME LIME LIME LIME wooooohooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! hugz, jeanne

it tis indeedy, Leslie. not to be perrrrrrrsnickity but the correct spelling is LIME not lime. goodness me after all this time and ya still misspell'd it. roflmao :)) hugz, jeanne

ah but Estelle, this LIME quilt is just gorgeous as is all by its lonesome, eh. as it would be if done in all shades of purple. perhaps you should rustle up one similar in all purples for us to drool over. :) hugz, jeanne

i truuuuuuely be crushed to da bone. :( how anyone can not love LIME is beyond me. i usually only say a wee bit is enough for a quilt but this is gorgeous, even for those oddballs who dont love LIME. jeanne

LIME is a fruit, think of it that way in this case. its not called 'key LIME green pie' now is it, lol. geez, some folks are soooooooooo hard to ed u cate. :) jeanne

i noticed them too, Sandy. LIME and feathers...reminds me of our KEA bird and many others here. also the ferns and assorted foliage we've got a heap of down here in the South Pacific. maybe shes a south pacific island girl or has visited here and fell in love. hugz, jeanne

ya what??? hold up a sec, Jenn. how can you live in WA and not like greens? tho i dont really call LIME a green per se. more mother natures neutral. :) after living with ya for a whole month twos back and ya still dont 'like' lime? go figure. hugz and kissez, jeanne

Wowie!

sorry Jeanne... LIME fruits have peppier color than that quilt shows on my monitor and i am just not a green lover... Outside in nature yes, on clothes/furnture/walls/quilts/etc. not so much.

still would love it in blueberry or raspberry or blackberry pie or even grape juice pie (now i have to dig out that recipe)

Kellie

I've used it as an accent once or twice, but a whole quilt? Yikes!
