Thanks to those of you who told me that 4 small spools of Sulky thread was plenty for a 59 by 72.5 inch quilt (more or less)
I ended up with almost two full spools left over. Nothing fancy about this quilting, we had a power outage last week (2 1/2 days?) just when I was beginning to do the quilting. It's just a fairly big all over meandering, what some might call "mattress Pad Quilting". But it's finished and the binding is on and it's ready to be delivered to the new owner this weekend.
I'll try to get a picture posted when I get back from my trip back "home".
I leave here Thursday afternoon to go to Buffalo for an early morning flight out to California the next day. I should be having lunch with my daughter Friday afternoon, then off to see my son on Saturday. I'll only be gone for a week and I know it will go by so fast but I'm looking forward to seeing at least a couple of my grandkids. (and their parents of course!)
