Poiple squished and how!

I mentioned here a while back that my bin for purple was running really low. Day by day, the mail carrier has been bringing in delightful squishes of really happy purples and I can not tell you how much fun this is. The children's shelter for domestic violence and the preemie unit that I stitch for are just going to love all the violent violets and rowdy purples that you have sent. The little ones and I thank you so very much. It is such a great blessing to be able to wrap these small folks in love and I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have you join me in hugging as many as we can. very grateful, Polly

Polly, we know all the great things you made for the kidlets, and it's such a happy thing for us to do in 'purpling' ya! : )

These purples are having such a good time. They play nice with the yellows, pinks, blues - all of the others although they seem to have the best fun with lime. The only thing happier would be if you were here to make little quilts with me. Polly

I would love to share today's crib quilt with you. The fabric base is Makower's Animal Kingdom. I see that the line is over at Big Horn if you want to take a look. I thought it was going to be a boy quilt but my neighbor says that little girls like bears and tigers too. Indeed they do. Polly

Howdy!

Just about to run out of purple!!??!!: I don't know how you can stand yourself, Miz Pol, I really don't. A remedy had to be found; steps must be taken!

DDIL just came through. She's learning to quilt and declared that she can not stipple. Can Not! Well. Maybe she just needs practice and maybe it's her SM (remember how happy Leslie was to get a SM that loves stippling?). Anyhow. While we were considering that, she saw my Purple Mountain Majesty and had to fondle all the beautiful poiple squishies. When quilters take over the world, things are going to be a whole lot different. And better. Polly
