Not cleaning your house and devoting that time instead to quilt projects will save time. Of course you may have to lay claim on the house over the dust bunnies, but hey!

Are you getting the furlough days Ginger? I would guess you are with the county but not sure. Getting 3 days off a month gives lots of extra time but I would guess many of the workers at that point are doing very scrappy projects.

Looking like more buildup and maybe some thunder the next day or two. I have my fingers crossed for no lightning fires here in so. cal.

Good tip! Mine comes off the bolt, but sometimes there's an annoying severe crease up the middle.

Absolutely! but, beware...make sure you name them by gender...dust bunnies are tempramental! LOL. amy in CNY

And if you are not sure about how to determine the gender, give them names that (depending on culture, maybe?) can be either gender, like Bo or Kim :-)

Never realized it before (and probably the only one here who hasn't): are they called dust bunnies because of the way they multiply?

Well, I can tell you what *not* to do! Don't ever put Dream Puff batting in the dryer before using it. I thought it would "fluff" it a bit. It was real flat from being in the package so long. The dryer put the weirdest creases in it.Forever. Parts of the batting expanded, except for these crazy weird lines all over it. I think it might've been too hot. I should have maybe used "air dry" setting.

Ouch! Try this next time: add a couple damp wash cloths or tea towels and then run dryer at VERY LOW and for just a FEW minutes. PAT

A damp towel in the dryer w/ the batting induces relaxation in just a few minutes; planning ahead & letting the batting relax on its own for a day or so also works. Esp. w/ quality batting. ;-D
