QI has left the quilting room

Hello all, Like Cindy, we too experienced a QI loss. Our beloved kitty girl Scooter went to be with her big brother yesterday.

She was 18 yrs old, and we almost lost her a year and a half ago but our vet was able to give us more time. Unfortunately, her body was just not strong enough to hold on any longer. We were able to spend time with her this weekend and say our goodbyes and adjust to the thought of not having her with us.

Please give all of your babies a hug for our girl. Laurie

Thanks so much, everyone. Life is moving forward, but it doesn't stop me from listening for her when I'm alone in the house. Zoe's been wandering a bit looking for her big sis, but she *is* enjoying the extra attention.

It's hard now, as you feel the loss of your Scooter most painfully, but... when you can... celebrate the great 18 years you had. That's a good long life for a furry friend, filled with lots of love for you both.
