question about computer printer fabric

Mar 07, 2008 25 Replies

The problem with that fabric/freezer paper set-up is that it slips and slides through my printer and I end up ruining more than I succeed with.

Karen, using my Hobbs also! Where did you put yours?

groan....... You mean like making fabric postcards? Another new branch out

That sounds like a plan! It's springtime, and I'm ready for something new on my sewing room walls......

In the green room. Right now it's leaning against a table in there; I rolled it out on the floor to cut into it. Just happened to have Dad's old tape measure (it works!) at hand. Much less waste to be able to cut the appropriate width from the bolt. Btw, the green room was mine until I gave it up for an amp shop, but some of my stuff is still in there because my next room is still occupied by the son who kinda' lives here but really doesn't. He's going to be so surprised in a couple of weeks to find that his stuff has been rootled, sorted & packed, his bed replaced by a futon, and some fabric stash & batting moved in. The people who pay have the say. ... or something like that. ;-D

Cheers! R/Sandy-- noting that "Karen made me do it!" in regards to buying the big bolt of Hobbs 80/20 (& I'm so glad she did!)

Apparently I'm good at helping other people spend their money. ahem!

Me too! Unfortunately my friends are just as good at helping me spend my money.
