Thnx for the help.

You mean the little ears when you join two triangles to form a square, right? If so, I cut them off when I squre up the square.

I always trim off rabbit ears before -- otherwise, they can get sewn into seams and bulk them up.

Ouch! The poor rabbits!! And I bit their wiggling around doesn't do the quilt a bit of good. ;-)

There is a use you can put these little 'ears' to! When the four half-square triangles have been joined and all the 'ears' are bunched together in the centre, sort them out and pull them up, so that they are each standing about their own triangle. Assuming that the seams have all been pressed in one direction, put the tip of your finger (I use index, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter >ggShould I cut the little "rabbit ears" off the triangles before I sew them

Thanks Patti, but too late for me. I cut the cute little things off and now I wish I hadn't. Oh well, I'm saving your response for my next pinwheel quilt.
