Part ONE is Finished on SIL StarAfghan. Have ALL (124) 6 diamond stars crocheted and 2 skeins worth of the white diamonds done. Now for the sewing together (the easiest part as I use a large blunt end needle and 'sew' them together instead of crocheting them.) I want to have the Stars done by Christmas.....then she can help me arrange them where SHE wants them. (Mainly evening work and when I'm watching Simply Quilts)
Part 2: DDs Plane Quilt has all the sashing sewn on and one set of 2 blocks quilted. Discovered that is a no-no and will only be able to quilt ONE block at a time. SIL will help sew the rows together.
Part 3: I'm "OK" for the most part--every time you see a front heading for CA know that I'm miserable for 2 days until it hits AZ. Day of the storm--I'm fine again...so far it's either hands/and/or feet that drive me nutso. SOOOOOOOO much better than just a year ago.
Part 4: Mr. Joe and *I* got eth garden and flower garden in WITHOUT help!!!!!!! Will have the neighbor kiddo help put the fence back in. First garden area is coming up already and the ROSES are blooming like crazy.
Part 5: We are STILL breaking daily high temps but I "LOVE" it as it's easier on my bod :)
