Quilt group

Karen, Queen of Squishies invited me to join her Fri. quilt group after she found out I didn't live to far from her. It was at Musicmaker's , I think she is on this group, not sure, house this time because Karen couldn't be there.



This is the very first time I have been to something like this and I just loved it and had a wonderful time. They all made me feel so welcome and I seen lots of pictures of quilts some of them had made.



I plan on going as often as I can.

How wonderful! :) Yes, Musicmaker is on this list, though she's pretty quiet lately. I'm so glad you've found some "in-the-flesh" quilters to hang around with, Kathy; our online friends are awfully special, but in person is pretty cool, too. :)

That's great, Kathy! I should try to find another group here--I gave up on the last one because two proud grandmas kept bringing very active grandbabies to the meetings--and I spent more time keeping an eye on the little ones around my sewing machine cords and the rotary cutter and the pins, and taking away blocks, and shooing them away from the ironing board, and listening to them scream............you get the picture, I am sure. Love kids, but not around quilting stuff.
