Quilt show Hattiesburg MS

It was perfect weather for a show. In the mid 80's with low humidity. The show was just yummy. I think there were over 300 quilts on display. So many quilts that the food vendor had to move the 2nd floor balcony. Lots of vendors.

My camera decided to go bonkers and not stay on. It acted like the battery was not charged, but it was. May be time for a new digital, craps.

I didn't get the name of a vendor that had a new ( well to me) gadget. This lady was demonstrating a stick looking thingy. It was oval shaped covered with a sleeve. She used it to press open seams open. I was impressed with it. Have any of you come across this gadget. Its about 2 inches wide and about 24 inches long.

I'm off to watch the LSU vs Florida Gators.

We had a glorious time too. Warms my little heart to hear/see someone walk closer to a creation and just whisper, "wow". Indeed it does. As always, my favorites did not wear ribbons. What do you suppose they would do if I slipped in my own special awards? I imagine if I behaved like I had full authority that no one would even question. It could happen. I could bring my own press corps and some really impressive credentials. Polly
