Quilting is a Sham

Well, actually, three shams. Shown at the below link perched atop our bed with the 9 patch quilt astride the bed and the shams looking like they belong there. They are closed at the back with three buttons for removal of the pillow hidden within. Now, hopefully, this completes this project. Actually, it was a fun project, that I had no idea I was to do until instructed by my wife that they would be preferable to a bolster which adorned the summer weight quilt which is now in storage. I hope you enjoy the picture.

Looks great! My Dear Mother is now asking for shams... for a quilt I made for her years ago! YIKES! still on a fabric search!

Yes, they definitely look like they belong there, John! :) They look wonderful -- as always.

the ruffles match the bed skirt. and you're right...you are a man at ease in his man-ness...you know what i mean...LOL!
