Cotton batting clings very well to cotton fabric, plus I pin baste about a fist-width apart all over the quilt. Seldom have any shifting. Roberta in D

I think it is because most people just don't have time anymore.

Time is sure the culprit for me. I work full-time, have three boys and a husband......if I couldn't machine quilt, nothing would be finished!
