quilting marathon is over

My room mate is due back from vacation today so I now am back in my studio and have everything moved away from the living room. In his absence I have been able to complete 2 quilts. These were my first attempt at free motion quilting and both are loaded with one mistake over another. The stranger thing is that both of these quilts now have new homes. I also completed 3 other queen size tops that I have sandwiched and ready for quilting. Last but not least I have all the blocks finished for a sampler (queen size). I just have to sew them all together. It has been a busy month and one that has kept me away from the group here. DH kept telling me I don't have to work so hard, but of course I didn't listen to that :). Now the plan is to spend the rest of this very cold and snow bound winter quilting these projects. The good thing is I will be staying warm under these quilts in this cold weather. (it is current 13 degrees Farenheit). Now maybe I can keep up here a bit better. juliasb

Are there pics of these quilts, Julia? I'd love to see. :-)
