RE: the continuous line quilting. I really like doing this one- for background quilting, too. For background filler quilting you draw a grid and do the same thing as in the video with the 4 patches. I find it helps if I mark a dot at the high point of the arc for several curves until my eye gets comfortable with the positioning. When you do it as a filler pattern they call it Orange Peel- among several other names. I vote for the continuous line quilting!

So, I have this tumbler quilt I keep pulling out and working on little by little. I have echo quilted the border in thread that matches the background. What would you all suggest I quilt with for the field of tumblers? I'm just not sure about the color.
