Yeah! Like back in 1996 when we got Northern to stop "knitting" their quilted toilet paper!

Aw, shoot, Mickie, that stinks!

Well, the only reason I've ever bought Quiltmaker is to see what you've sewn for them, so I guess I won't be buying it again. I hope the others give you a little work on the side, if you want it.

Oh, I don't mind getting the Keepsake catalogs. In fact, I enjoy looking at them, I just buy fabric elsewhere! I often snip the quilt pictures that I like out of the Keepsake and other catalogs I get. I glue them to to sheets of paper and post them on my bulletin board downstairs. While I never exactly copy the quilts as shown, the pictures are always a good inspiration when I'm thinking about a new project.

Iris (and as if I don't have a gazillion quilt books to get ideas from too!)

Sounds like a late-breaking update is that Ann may be getting her money (after this problem went viral online). And yesterday "Sew News" arrived which was one of the mags I subscribed to, so maybe I'll get all the issues I paid for, too.

Thanks for the link. I took one look at it and felt that this vendor knows what I want, which is not the case with many fabric vendors. It is really interesting how we quiltmakers vary in our tastes and motivations.

I'm glad things got worked out. (I bet the bad publicity didn't hurt).

I was just enjoying your Halloween SunBonnet Sue quilt from Quiltmaker '99. Wish we could show it to our new quilters - it is such a treasure. Polly

"Mickie Swall" I suffered through many unfufilled promises, I got really tired of reminding

Mickie, I'm so sorry this happened to you! I never subscribed to Quiltmaker, but I frequently looked at it and bought various issues. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your name on so many of the quilts pictured there.

Howdy!

What are you doing now, Mickie, employment-wise?

R/Sandy
