The newbie is lost again. What is a HUG quilt?

Sheila

A Hug quilt is a group effort, a quilt made of blocks from the quilters of this group to comfort someone in great need or sorrow, or just to let them know how much they are loved. The Hug list is a list kept by Karen, Queen of Squishies. When one of us wants to make a Hug for someone else they contact Karen with the particulars (size and color of blocks, any special instructions and a deadline date to send) and everyone on the Hug list will be notified. You get to choose if you want to contribute to any given Hug effort. Hugs can be made without using the list too. HTH Diana
