Re: The FQ diet

Oh wow!! but how do you figure out how many for breastfeeding? ANd if things go as planned, there won't be any labor. Doc said today that she'd get her nurse moving on trying to schedule my c-section so that everybody can get things settled and ready to go (parents want to make their plane reservations as soon as they can so that mom;s boss can't rescind her permission).

That's funny that you suggested this. My husband and I just started doing our diet and he said that we both need to lose 10 pounds by the end of August. I said "What do I get if I do?" That's my answer. Fabric!!! Yeah!!!

What do you get if you are like me and were in labor for 12 hours, pushed for 1 hour and then had to have an emergency C-section? Poor me. That was just 6 months ago.

Speaking of Jelly Belly jelly beans. Has anyone tried the Harry Potter every flavor jelly beans? My husband and I did. Along with the regulare flavors they had sardine, spinich, black pepper, vomit, grass and dirt. Yes, my DH tried them all although some we had to spit out.

You deserve a FQ from your baby every year of her life.. or his... and a FQ for every year of their life.. for life... And a couple for good measure from the daddy.. :-) Diana

Going by that method, I'm still only due to get myself 15-16 FQ's althogh ATM it's probably only 12. Are these numbers enough to make a quilt from?

Well, then I'm now up to a potential 32 FQ's!

What about the use of cloth nappies over disposables? Do we get savings there as well?

Can I join in this? Working off the numbers you suggest, Karen, I'm up to a minimum of 106 FQ's, without figuring numbers for breastfeeding!

Oh Pounds! I've been working in kg's! Started at 70, got up to 78 and recently weighed myself at 66. Can anyone convert to pounds for me, please?
