I just watched it here in Calif. Came on about 6:30AM. I agree, well done!
I liked that the piece had the reporter try his hand at machine quilting! And that they showed some spectacular quilts in the processof the reporting. Now I can't wait to go to my first and maybe only quilt show of the year, in two weeks at Burbank [CA].
Ginger in CA no DVD, no TIVO, had to get up early to watch it 'live'
It was a great piece to show that what many people imagine when they think "quilter" just ain't so! I thought it was terrific when Karey Bresnahan (sp?) emphasized the dollars spent on quilting each year. It was a very nice segment (and was placed earlier in the show that the stories about potato chips and James Earl Jones!)
Oops. Shows what I know....I thought the show would be delayed by time zone as many others are. I hope I didn't screw up anyones viewing. Oh well. You learn something every day. I thought the show was really well done. It wasn't corny or belittling....quite nice.
I saw it this AM--very well done!
Pffft. I forgot about it till the show was nearly through, so I missed it. :-(
