It is necessary, because that's not a universal attitude. I've been Informed by an officious prig that if I'm allergic to perfume, I shouldn't go places where people might wear it.

*cough* That's, uh, lessee... EVERYWHERE!!!

After all, they shouldn't have to change their behavior just because I have an allergy. That would be, you know, considerate, and we can't have that.

Yeah, I know this Rose. It is still a shame that it is necessary. BTW, when I smoked, I had to go outside so it would not inconvenience or bother other people. I did so willingly, not necessarily joyfully, but willingly. IMO (NEVER Humble) it is more or less the same with perfume, but the perfume users don't seem to get it. PAT, scent free and smoke free in VA/USA
