robison anton thread

I was wondering how everyone felt about this thread for quilting? I seems to be cheaper then the other name brands.

thanks, Annie

I LOVE it! I got a $300 value assortment of Robison-Anton when I bought my previous sewing machine about four years ago (a Janome 4800)- I had never used it before that. I loved it and have replaced every spool I used from the 'free gift' assortment and have added many more colors to it. I think you'll be pleased with it and how it performs. But start out with a few spools to see how your machine likes it- we have had many discussions about how some machines seem to like some brands better than others and I wouldn't want you to stock up and then find your machine throws a fit.

I love it. Particularly the Metallic. They are the only ones that don't seem to shred( providing I don't speed away)and the colours are good for FM ing too!.

Hi Anne, I've used mostly Robison-Anton thread since I started quilting. My Janome dealer give me 6 large spools of cream, white and gray when I purchased my Janome 6500 a few years ago. I've never had any kind of problem at all. It's not particularly linty and my machine likes it just fine.
