A friend and I tried some shibori yesterday, using bleach to discharge the dye in the fabric. We had lots of fun trying different ways to tie the fabric and seeing how the bleach changed the color of the fabric. I had mostly black fabric, which turned a lovely brown when bleached. General description of shibori at It was a hot day, but we we worked on her deck, which was shady and getting a nice breeze. We didn't want to work with the chlorine bleach inside.
