I am so excited!! I don't know if you all know who Lisa Boyer is but she is making a quilt I designed and has posted the blocks that she has made so far.

Dorky Homemade Quilts: Look Marsha, I'm Squiggling! I have taught this quilt to a small group of quilters I know and they just loved making it. It is easy and fun.

Anyway, thanks for letting me share, Lisa is such a delightful person and her blog is always fun to read.

Peace,

Marsha in nw, OH

Oh my gosh, Marsh, you are famous! Seriously, I love the quilt. How is it done? It looks like something I'd love to add to a quilt some time.

Thank you Sunny! I posted a tutorial the end of last year on my blog. Check it out and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

I wish I could teach everyone how to Squiggle. It is too fun!

Congratulations, Marsha, You have made a real success out of your visit with me last June. Aren't you glad that you saw my friends quilt from "Thinking Outside The Block" and also my project from the class that I took from Carol Taylor, Sensuous Lines and Curves. You have so cleverly put the two together and came up with squiggles. I love it. You will need to visit again and see some what I learned in my two classes that I just took in Japan. Good job and the colors are beautiful. Liz

K.J I had a great opportunity to take her class in Atlanta. She is a wonderful teacher, shares and takes lots of time with each individual. You can check her schedule on her website and maybe you can get in one of her classes. You would not be intimidated at all, her class was very relaxed and she made everyone feel at ease. I would love to take another one of her classes. Liz Anne

Marsha, I tried to pay you a compliment, but you have made something else out of it. Were we not friends before? I have a very nice tabletop quilt that you so beautifully free motioned and brought to me. I do appreciate it and it looks great on my table. I believe that credit should be given when credit is due. I'm sorry if your perception is something other than the intention. Regards, Liz Anne

Where in Atlanta did you take your class with Carol Taylor? My guild had her for 2 classes and a lecture. I took the "Going in Circles" class, but they also offered the "Sensuous Lines and Curves" class, which is like the Squiggles quilt being talked about.

Barbara, I took the class at East Cobb Quilt Guild. They had a vacancy and I was invited to take the class. I would loved to have taken the" Going in Circles", but it was full. Are you in this Guild? If so, you have a wonderful quilt show. Our Guild takes a bus trip over to visit the show and also makes a couple stops at quilt shops. Lots of fun! Happy Quilting, Liz Anne
