They were wrong - Off and On Topic

Housework CAN kill you.

Last Tuesday, I embarked upon painting my kitchen. I hadn't cleaned atop the cabinets in years. I can't see up there, nothing ever gets moved so who knew how dirty they were. Well, after taking everything down and cleaning so I could paint the back wall, all that dust and dirt must have brought on an allergy attack. I started sneezing Wednesday morning and by Thursday I was sick as a dog. Went through 3 boxes of those tissues with the lotion and my nose and upper lip still looks like hamburger. I ran a temp Sat & Sunday and just felt awful. But I never got a sore throat (and that's usually my first symptom of a cold) and the only coughing seemed to come from sinus drainage.

I went to the doctor Monday and they think that the allergy attack triggered a sinus infection. Gave me a Z Pack (Azithromycin). Good stuff. I feel better.

The On Topic part of this message is that while I was delirious with fever, I dreamed that I had this yardage of fabric (I think I do, in fact, HAVE the fabric) that is covered with paper dolls and doll clothes. My "job" was to cut out the different dolls and try to cut out enough of the clothes so that each doll had the same amount. The problem was that some of the clothes overlapped each other and some of the dolls were winding up with way more clothes than the other dolls. It was so frustrating! I would wake up and think, "what a stupid dream". I'd go back to sleep and start all over again. It was awful. I dreamed that dream all Saturday afternoon.

I haven't picked up a needle and thread for a week. I'm trying to get my kitchen back in order and by the time night rolls around, I'm ready for bed.

So - don't clean house.

I Agree!!! Dust bunnies should multiply and prosper!!! and that gunk on top of the fridge is there for a reason....i dont know what yet, but it's there for a reason...

Yeah, someone else supports my theory - if it can't be seen on tippy toe, then it must be OK to just sit there.

Hope you are feeling better.

I just assume it's there to keep everything from slipping off the top of the fridge... kinda like fly-paper...yeah, that'd work..LOL
