I don't know. There's a cute little Kate Spade purse that I could see carrying to a formal "do". It's only $13 for a week.

Well, I guess I could see that for a special occasion- maybe. I noticed a purse that my former employer carried- $1310 plus the matching wallet for $520. Now, being who I am, looking at her purse meant nothing to me. It looked like it could have cost $20 at WalMart- didn't seem all that special at all! I'm sure it's nicely made with expensive, quality materials and all that, but what the heck??? She couldn't *impress* me cuz I had nooooo idea what she'd spent on it- and I really didn't care, either. Now if she had spent that much money on a really nice Golden Retriever with a great personality and lovely coat.... well, then I'd be impressed! Or not. LOL I paid $10 for my beloved Missy girl- with AKC papers and all. And if I'd paid a thousand times that much for her it still would have been the best money I *ever* spent.

Yikes! I have a nice soft black real leather handbag with shoulder strap from K-Mart that I'm perfectly happy with. I got it on sale for $19.99 marked down from $29.99.
WOW!!! $142 and you have to give it back at the end of the week. Can't believe it. My purses are always clearance bags or one I've made and I use them for years.

They are being clever and putting the price in $ for people coming to their web site from an American/Canadian server and £ for people coming from the UK. They can tell what your IP address is and from that figure out the country.

I wonder if it's that "free" postage that makes it cost so much more? I don't like companies that play games with their pricing. Now I know for SURE I won't be renting a handbag from them. hmph!
