I went to my LQS Friday for our BOM and saw a pattern for a tote bag by Lazy Girl's Designs. Bought the fabric and started it Friday PM and finished it last night. Here are some pics if you'd like to see it.

I love bags, and have made many. I'm about to start a new bag adventure, with a Vogue pattern I fell in love with. It suits my criteria: big enough for half a set of school exercise books and a spare pair of knickers! Vogue 8215, view A.

The Lazy Girl patterns have excellent instructions for zippers. Give it a try! I don't do zippers or button holes either, and I can do theirs.
