Twisted Bargello Class... day 1

I took the bull by the horns and installed Firefox and that would not load the website either :-

I have checked Windows firewall and there doesn't appear to be anything on there which is preventing the site from loading but I now wonder if I have a firewall running that I do not know about. I have just run Adaware, Spybot + Clean up, next I shall do a complete virus scan. This is taking up so much time that I am about to give up on it. I was only trying to access the site to find the UK price for Electric Quilt 6. I called the person this morning and got the price over the phone but the mission to get the site to load became a major battle with my computer and that is winning at the moment!! Eileen

Regarding the Firefox/Internet Explorer debate:

Many many many computer-savvy younguns with deleterious motives have discovered that Internet Explorer allows them extremely easy ways in which to throw computer viruses into unsuspecting surfers' machines.

Firefox is a more secure web-browser. It is more difficult (or so I'm told) for viruses to come in to your system if you use it.

Mine worked ok - seems a very good price for EQ6 doesn't it - Full Version: £89.99 ($168) Version 5 Upgrade: £37.99 ($72) including VAT and postage.

I am happier ordering from nearer to home - easier if things go wrong.

Hope you manage to sort out your problems - sorry I am completely clueless there - I delegate!.

hey, you can come here any time too! I keep getting old quilts, and I am not quick enough! though I am working on the dresden plates... no OTT light, and my guest bath does not have a shower yet, but Fer is a good cook! :o)
