The bargello is not hard to make at all. It's strip quilting. Cut the strips, sew in colour sets, cut again, then sew those strips together doing a stair-step

I've made 2 of them, unfortunately no picture of the first one I made. It was a gift. I liked it so much I had to make myself one

Those look great Ann! See, nuts have their uses :) You have a great eye for color and using color to make the designs really stand out and look quite dramatic. What a difference that can make! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Kitty Part of the fun too is picking out colours. And for a full size quilt project I buy all fabric at the same time so it's a pick-and-choose process at a LQS :) That way you can get several opinions on colour choice.

Hi Gerry Thanks The pattern is called Weaver Fever. By Jackie Robinson. I know I have seen her book for sale while surfing the net. My particular one is the four-ver.....meaning 4 colours in the weave. In the pattern book there are directions for all sizes of quilts and the three-ver, four-ver and five-ver.
