The past few days have been filled with delight at mail time as the results of the "wha cha lookin' for" thread come rolling in. I love the surprise at what comes out of those wonderfully soft mailers. It's one thing to buy fabric and expect exactly what's in the package. But when it's a surprise everything is that much more exciting. The colors are perfect. The designs are perfect. Flamingoes! Butterflies! Big bright airplanes! Adorable dragons! Paisley designs to die for, an incredible underwater scene filled with outrageous colors. And one piece that has g iven me the border I've been looking for on the prettiest blue background. Ok, I think I've said thanks to everybody who sent me things and I think I've sent out fabric to all.... I think. Mush brain. But this has been a hoot. I would do this any time. I always loved trading when I was a kid and I still do. And Ginger, a public "thank you" filled with appreciation -- that road we travel isn't quite so lonely when we don't travel alone.
Ok, so this was a great idea and I hope everybody who participated is as happy as I am and thanks to whomever started the thread (can't remember) and generally what a happy event.
