What have you been doing?

That remodeling stuff can have serious consequences, if you don't pace yourself. Tell him to take it easy and it will get done soon enough. Deadlines sometimes live up to that name. so be careful. Best, John

That tumbling blocks is one of my favorite to look at and most detested to do. It is too damn finicky, and doesn't look right unless the points match up just "sew". Every time I finish a project with that pattern I swear "never again". Then time clouds the vision in the rear view mirror and I find myself doing another one. Oh well, that is it for awhile on this one, until the next time. Hopefully it won't be a king size quilt. John

I haven't done much this winter. A few little swaps (really little things) and a couple baby quilts and finishing up the top for my son's flannel quilt. It's been a hard winter and I feel like maybe I'm getting my feet back under me, but I've said that before.

I am working on HS graduation quilts for my daughter and her 5 close friends (often known as a Girl Pack). Three are done! I am in the midst of # 4 and there is some cutting done for each of # 5 and 6.

Same block for each quilt, personalized for each girl (favorite color and block placement).

None of them know about this project, my guild is questioning my sanity...

Great bag John. And everyone seems to be as busy as they want to be.

I am trying to keep ahead on class samples, do an occasional store sample and my guild chapter is having a UFO challenge too. This past month I have done several smallish projects. Still have one bag sample to finish, a table runner to layer, quilt and bind (unless I decide to "birth" the whole thing..... odd shape, 8 outside corners and 4 inside corners... what was I thinking??? But it is striking. ) Also have one more quilt to cut make and finish by the 6th of March. Have some of the next batch of class stuff ready to go too. So I keep busy. Need to get photos and such done and up somewhere. Also need to get my website up, sigh. one of these years.

I've been appliquing some bright and cheerful flowers (only a couple of leaves to go--will finish Monday at my small quilt group) for the center of a wallhanging. And machine quilting a cheerful blue and yellow quilt.

Can you tell I've been craving color and sunshine?

I envy you in a way! MSM "volunteered" me to help with the local Nutcracker production when my sister was dancing and I was teenager. Made me fall in love with the ballet. David's not a huge fan so I don't get to see it as often as I would like now.

This is as close as I'll ever get to dancing, and I think that's a big part of why I'm doing it!

Leslie: Well, shoot! Your impending house sale is news to me. I am sorry you have to go through this, and I wish you all the best in the sale process. Good luck in finding another home. ON topic: I love that lavender and green quilt; the fabric is lovely, as is the quilting motif. Pat in Virginia
