What's your favorite?!

I like my duck-billed scissors! I got them for reverse appliqué years ago. I also have those little curved scissors. I think I got them for cross-stitch. Or machine embroidery. I don't remember.

I haven't done trapunto yet, so no wonder I didn't catch on. My blunt, student scissors are made by Fiskars. I got them a dollar a pair at a store called "Going Bananas," or something like that. It no longer exists. I think I'll put a pair in my sewing supplies. Or would blunt sewing scissors be better? Fiskars is pretty to me!

(Yes, you did a good job! You may have a handful of M&Ms!)

Shopping. That's my favorite part of quilting.

What a fun thread! Here is what I like about quilt making: dreaming up a design; selecting fabric; cutting; piecing and seeing the pieces join into units, into blocks, into quilt tops; basting; quilting; finishing; sharing my work with friends and family; also, hanging out with quilters, reading about quilts, and looking at other people's quilts; plus, the chocolate! (Of course!) PAT, Official Chocolate Taster & Queen of Everything

Kay, do those scissors actually have "Fiskars" stamped on the blades? The price is pretty amazing. Roberta in D

Yes, they do. They were even in their original packaging when I got them. I think the "Going Bananas" shop got buyouts from places going out of business. I was amazed when I found them.
