When do you pull the plug?

I love you guys! Wombat..... I'm going to remember that one. But I think WomFat isn't too bad either, especially considering the current state of my backside.

Part of the offending blocks are already on their way to the annual guild swap meet. The rest are going to be incorporated into a Quilt of Valor, I think. They are the right color and with a little imagination I think I can turn that Uncle Sam panel by Moda into a QOV with the work I've already done.

I'm going to take a quilting haitus. At least actual cutting and sewing. I'm going to spend the next few weeks reading, reading, reading. And thinking. I know some of the things I really like to do, but don't have the skills to carry it out. That's probably the first place I'll start. From there I'm not too sure. I've got a Round Robin project that's due next month. I'm going to finish that for sure. And then it may be a while before I think about half-square triangles. LOL.

In the meantime, you guys who do the beautiful work, keep making it cuz i sure do like to look at it, even if it drives me batty to do.

I never thought of that. The idea of dyeing fabric in general fascinates me, but I've never been able to get the courage to try. Hmmm...
