Scrapbook.com and assorted companies are sponsoring a layout contest and the prize is $15,000.00 That amount of change could by a lot of SB supplies!

The details are here:

My skills haven't progressed to a level where I would feel comfortable entering a contest but I've seen some of the work from group members who I think should enter. Good luck and happy scrapping!

HI.

Thanks for the link. I'm not "unique" or "dynamic" in my scrapping but I'm not afraid to try and neither should you. You might be surprised at what they might choose.

Kate

Holy Moly! THat's a lot of moola.

I think i might enter anyway myself - like you said, you never know! Thanks for posting that Marcia.

Jessica

Thanks for posting that Marcia. Actually itis 15 winners getting $1000.00 each in scrapping supplied! I've never entered a contest before. But what is there to lose?

I suggest your goals layout M-C. Go for it!

For once I didn't use any bazzill as I didn't have any black in stock. In order to enter you have to use at least one product from one of the sponsors:

Basic Grey, SEI, QuicKutz, Display Dynamics, Scrapworks, Bazzill Basics.

Now what does Display Dynamics make other than furniture and acrylic trays? Does it count if I have the trays, LOL, or do I have to adhere it to the page? Ok it's late...

Wow it just occured to me that I did use Bazzill! I used their vellum in each of the twelve months and the LO would not work the way it does without it. I've never given much time to sending something in to a contest until now because as Dave says you are such a wonderful group of enablers and supporters! Question is, should I submit it to the contest OR to Memory Makers for the hope of being published. Apparently you have to do one or the other and on top of that I do have to take it down from my webshots account.

I could sure you all of your feedback on this as I've never sent in anything to anyone!

Go for the $$$. If you win, you're gonna be published anyways, right? I think you should definetly do it with that layout. That's a fabulous layout. Good Luck!

Go for it M-C. It is a beautiful page that I'm sure will win.

I agree with Jessie. And you should really go for it, because that LO is truly awesome.

Thanks guys, but I have to send in 5 LOs and I still haven't figured out if that is 5 pages or it a 2 page layout counts as 1 or what! The rules say that if you send in too few or too many, you will be disqualified!
