REPOST: Become Eligible Now for the RCS February Contest

Dec 22, 2004 13 Replies

Just so you can start working on it now, in February 2005 I'll be sponsoring a contest on RCS through my company, Not Just Scrapbooks, LLC of Arkansas. I'm doing it through the company so that I can write off the cost from inventory. The prize will be worth over $50 and will include a beautiful K& Company 12x12 album kit and a Bazzill pack to match.

This is the last call. You must delurk by December 27th and start participating to become eligible!

To be eligible to enter, a person will have to:

  1. Have posted something more than a one liner to RCS on a regular basis during the months of December and January. (by Regular I mean at least two posts every week starting now. If you are new to the group, or have never introduced yourself before, please let us know a little about you in your next post. We love meeting new people. (Don't be afraid to ask questions or to start a new thread!)

  1. Have shared at least 3 "new "LOs with the group. For those of you who are on webtv and/or have problems posting LO's just send me a good picture or scan or even your 3 LOs and I will do whatever is needed to get your LO's posted. I will open a special RCS Webshot/Picturetrail account to post your LOs with each of you having your own album. All LO's posted in December and January will count. Post of recipe swap pages (including Lynne's recently completed Soup and Stews pages and Jacqui's Holiday Sweets page which will hopefully go up NTL the 27th), challenge pages etc will count towards your 3 page requirement.

The details of the contest layouts will be posted in January 2005.

I am arranging for judges who are not a part of RCS. Pages will be completely anonymous to the judges. I will set the layouts up on a special webpage/website with no names only numbers.

Depending on outcome and participation levels, the contest will be repeated during the year.

where do we find the special account to post our 3 layouts MC? I have new layouts in my webshots account right now if anyone would like to see. I did my first altered CD the other night too! got to go put that in there..

Oh, Michelle! Rylee is such a darling little cutie pie! I love your colours, it compliments the photo's beautifully and the lettering are too cute! Very pretty X'mas card aswell. Well done :)

thanks Judy. Rylee is my neice. She's just the cutest little thing. She'll be 1 on New years Day. I got to see her in June when I was up there visiting my family in Ct. I always look forward to getting more pictures of her from my brother and sister in law.

Well, I'm glad to see even though I haven't scrapped as much as I would have liked to the past couple months all I have to do is 1 more LO to qualify. Yeah!

Painting is supposed to be done by Friday. The floors are supposed to go in next week. So, I'm hoping for some normalcy by mid January. I started sorting craft supplies and putting the bins out into my new closet. Wahoo! I've got some cool craft stuff if only I could find it. Now I will.

Those are some great layouts of Grunt! I LOVE dog layouts seeing as that how my pooch has his own book too!! :) and I have to ask.... where on earth did you get a name like Grunt!?!? Funny but great name :) He was a nice looking dog! :)

Just wonderful LOs Jean! I can see the love through those pages. He sounds like a one-of-a-kind pup. Well done!

Sorry I've been trying to go through all the posts I[ve missed and came accross your question. For those of you that have webshot and picture trail accounts, I'll ask you to send me the direct links to the 3 LOs that are required to be eligible for the contest.

I'll probably set up a special email where you can fill in everything. For those of you who want to join and can't because uploading layouts is difficult, you;ll be able to send me the 3 layouts plus the one that will be required for the competition. I'll then scan them and upload them to a special account and send them back to you.

Hope this all makes sense!

These are great Jean, Since it will be hard for me to keeptrack, I am sure that you will be kind enough to send the qualifying links later, right? ppppleeeeeease?

That is great Lynne! Almost there and yes, almost qualified!

thanks Tabitha. Yeah I moved all my layouts to my webshots.. I did have them in the picture trail. They are still there too but I don't add to that anymore. They had a limit so I'm sticking with webshots now.
