Remember my thread about my MIL's birthday scrapbook I made for her? Well, we had a little dinner for her tonight and I gave it to her. She loved it! She actually cried! She said something like that means more to her than if we were to have gone out and bought her tons of presents. I am so glad she liked it but I knew she would.

Oh that is soo great! I think everyone likes it when people spend the time making something for them. My aunt made me a baby scrap book for my baby shower, and it was absolutly beautiful!! I think it was my favorite present, plus it got me hooked on scrapbooking!! Dang her for getting me addicted!!
I am so glad to hear that! Making a scrapbook takes a lot of heart, love of the craft and hours. It is really nice when the person receiving it appreciateds it.

Jennifer glad your MIL loved her gift. In a few weeks I will give my dad the scrapbook that I made for him, I can't wait. I know he's going to like it because he always prefers handmade over store bought.

I'm so glad she liked it! But then, who wouldn't! I made scrapbooks of my kids' growing up for both my mother and my MIL for CHristmas. I thought my mom would like heir's best, but it was my MIL who did! She held it all day and showed it to everyone!
