Oh Judy I can appreciate those feelings and thoughts. Geesh I thought only in America we had all the money hungry corporate executives that cares nothing about those who makes them what they are.

Corporate executives, bull what am I talking about, we do not even want to mention the OTHER bigger grubbers (hint - it is a privilege to choose them!!)

Having to strike really sucks. Hopefully your employers have more to lose by not having you guys working than by saving on salaries and benefits while you are on strike. I also hope that you guys win quickly. Sometimes strikes last so long that the people never recover the salary they lost while striking. Of course it always hits me that the union president and his/her people don't lose any money since the union is paying them! Good luck and here is praying that you are back at work very, very quickly!

M-C, Not every union president takes the salary. I know when the rail union was on strike my DH would drop his union paycheck for being the president in the kitty at the union hall after signing his name to the back to help out the other guys. He never once kept the pay. Sometimes it upset me because not only did he attend all of the meetings, he walked the picket line every night and on the holidays so the other guys could go home to their families. And we lived the furthest away and really couldn't afford the gas. but we made it on the part time job I had and support from my fmaily during the roughest times.

Sorry to hear you are having such a hard time at work Judy :( That is the pits and having to strike is just not nice. Hope a quick resolution is on the horizon.
