Beach Album on Webshots

This is the first time I've posted an album on webshots, so I hope I've got the link right:

There were six other pages, but each was about one of our beach group with waaay too much information for a public site. But there are still plenty without those. :-) This was my second scrapbook. I used an 8.5 x 11 format so I could scan it easily. The other one is 12 x 12, and I don't want to have to stitch scans together! (whine) Gina

This album looks great! It goes to show that an album doesn't have to be elaborate to make an impact. Thanks for sharing.

The link works great! I enjoyed your album the page that I think really tickled me was the "water many ways". What a creative idea and a sentiment caught just right.

A very pretty album.

I photograph some of my 12x12 layouts on the floor and then cut them down to size in my editing software.

I bought the paper at Michael's. There were several different scenes, all from paintings (and I'm guessing out of copyright :-) ). I can't recall the company name. I know it was on the back of the paper, but I used up all but a 1" scrap in this scrapbook since pieces of it were used on other pages, too. It was in 12 x 12 size. I don't think it had a tear strip on one edge for the company name, like some papers do, but was printed right on the back.

Thanks! Gina

Gina, thats a great album! I love the way you used the ocean and beach colours throughout the album, creating nice continuity. I also like the way you used the decorative edging for your matting, reminding me of the sea foam and waves. Love those picket fencing!

I think you put your album together in a very thoughtful and organized manner. I bet you'll have lots fond memories paging through it in years to come! TFS

Gina, your album is wonderful. Love the title page. I'll have to look for that paper. You have some goregoeous scenery pictures. Simple but elegant album. It goes to prove you don't need a lot of fancy embellishments to make an album. Love your album as is.
