Bind it all wire size question

Jun 14, 2008 1 Replies

I am set to order a Bind It All but I am not sure what size wires to order and was wondering if a wire can be cut and the leftover wire used on another book. I will be using the wire to bind chipboard albums which thicker chipboard as the covers and thinner chipboard for the inside pages. Can anyone tell what wire sizes are suitable for various binding tasks?

Also, do I need the whole tool kit or will a good pair of wire cutters be enough?

I am sure that you will love your Bind-it-All. I have one left in stock at a good price. Email me offline if you are interested.

As for the wires, you can even cut it with a pair of scissors, though I would not recommend that unless it is an old pair of scissors. All you have to do is make sure that you measure right, cut and then turn the edge of the wire in a little to make sure that no one gets hurt on it.

So to answe your question, you do not need a special tool to cut the wire.
