Ok... so it took scrapbooking to actually make me break out my sewing machine. Check out the card I made -

I won't tell you how long it took me to figure out how to make the sewing machine work plus I had to call my Mom. To my credit though... my machine is a very complicated many stitches to many buttons thingy. It had only been about 10 years since I used the sucker. I will have to tell you guys the story some time. I think the stiching was pretty straight for the first time sewing in

10 years!

PS - My Dad told my Mom when I called to make sure I plug the machine in... such a funny guy. It was plugged in by the way. hehe

Beautiful car Tammy.

Beautiful card. The stitching looks good to me. I mailed out my LO's and forgot completely about the card. I'll mail one out on Monday. Hope it arrives in time to go with the rest. It must have been a duh moment. Sandy

Thanks. MC mentioned that we could include a card if we wanted to... She was mainly concerned with getting enough layouts though.

That's ver;y pretty Tammy! Now that you have your sewing machine figured out, I see a lot of stitching on your future LO's ;)

Thanks! I haven't figured everything out yet. The next adventure is to change the machine to zig zag. LOL!

That turned out really nice. I'm so glad you kept plugging along to get the sewing down. It really give the card a warm feeling.

Good job Tammy! I couldn't sew my way out of a paper bag! dh asked me once if I wanted a sewing machine and I told him that was a lot of money to spend on a door stop! Lol! Barb:o)

How pretty! At least you have gotten your sewing machine out, though. Mine is collecting dust for my dust dragon collection. LOL Lovely card!
