Idea needed for lots of photos

Dose anyone have any LO's posted anywhere showing a collage of photos? I'm working on a couple of packets of family reunions and the number of photos I need to scrap for each reunion is astronomical. I weeded through and just tried to keep photos so that I could have at least one shot of each person attending. It took me a while to do this. I finished one year and it took me

4 pages to get everyone in really cropping the photos and using a block format for the LO. The next pack of photos is even bigger....My Dad's family is huge I would like to try a collage with it, but need some ideas............. Thanks, Sandy

Take a look JulieF's new scrapbook site I thought she did a good job of mosiacing (is that a word) numerous photos on a page in a creative and attractive way.

Thanks for the link Amanda! I discovered Becky Higgins several months ago during one of the RCS Challenges. Since then, I've been considering getting one of her books.

Someone on RCS several months ago, and I can't remember who but wish I did, posted a few of their LO's where they used several photos. One was swimming in a pool, another at a beach I think. I can't remember who it was! But we all marveled how many photos she managed to get on a page. Oh I wish I rememberd who it was.

I'll second (or third or whatever) those who suggested looking at the Becky Higgins sketches. I initially didn't think I could crop so many pictures that small, but once I got started, I realized that cropping out so much of the background really helped focus on the subject of the photo.

I also recently found a pack of templates at Michael's that are 12x12, and have a bunch of different sized blocks on each. I want to try them very soon, cutting pictures or matted embellishments to fit each block. I'm probably not describing them very well, but you could basically use them to sketch out a layout and determine your crop dimentions without having to do any math. And that's a very happy thing.

I have the older Sketches book, and I use it all the time. I really want to get the new one also. I haven't seen the templates, that would be pretty cool to try also.
