Cards and Diaper Wreath...

Well...I got the crafty bug again this weekend. I made a diaper wreath for decoration at a baby shower for a friend of mine. I also posted a few cards that I made for some weddings, and a baby card, and the altered tin for holding cards. I am working on getting the pages I did last weekend scanned and posted so bear with me...lol! They are in the cards and crafts album in my webshots account. Thanks for looking!

Hi Amanda! Loved all your cards! I love looking at cards and the wedding one is really pretty! What kind of wreath did you use for the diaper wreath?I can kind of tell you wrapped the diapers around it and tied them with ribbon.. I thought that was a really neat idea! So cute and colorful, and everything you included on it is useful! TFS

Very, very cute. What do you put the diapers around to form the wreath? Love the just married card-I think that's my favorite. Kathy

Amanda, I am inspired by your beautiful projects. I'm off to my craft room this instant to alter a box I have found to keep cards in.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Amanda, You are very talented. I love this wreath!!! Did you come up with that on your own? If you did, could you send me some of your creative talent!!!! I actually was hoping I could come up with SOMEONE who was having a baby just so I could copy your idea! No luck though for now. Can I save your idea to my computer so that when someone is pregnant I can remember how you did it?? Jodi

Thanks everyone...The wreath was super easy. I got one of those round wire wreaths in the floral area of HL, they also have styrafoam ones you can use. It took about 17 diapers (size 1). THen I just tied the ribbon on to hold them tight, and tied on the items. Took about 30 minutes to do. I found directions and ideas on the internet, so it's not all my idea. I copied a lot..lol!

PS- Tammy, I have the baby shower card at the office, I'm gonna post it later.

Amanda, you have inspired me. I love the diaper wreath. I only hope that there is ababy coming within the family so Larry can make it for me (he is the wreath maker in the family).

the cards are scraplifing worthy too.

Your cards are so pretty. Is the background of hearts and dots on the wedding card a stamp(s). It is so cool looking. The diaper wreath is adorable. What a cute idea.

Yes, the background on the wedding card is a stamp. It's from one of the itty bitty background sets from Stampin' Up. The hearts and dots are all together on one stamp. I'm really liking those background sets. Thanks.

I loved all your cards Amanda. They're so great! The diaper wreath is just adorable. I don't know of anyone having a baby anytime soon, but if someone comes up pregnant, I'll definately have to remember your diaper wreath!
