Christmas Cards using Hot card technique

I posted some pictures of Christmas cards I made over the weekend. I finally tried Lynne's Hot card technique. I was really pleased with the results! It was really fun and my kids thought I was nuts ironing tissue paper, plastic wrap and cardstock together..LOL thanks again Lynne for sharing that technique! I think I stuck a pic of a wedding cake I made last week in there too. I was in a hurry to get this posted before I go to work today! :-)

Thanks for looking!

Beautiful Cake. Great job on the cards. They are very elegant looking. You have the same stamp set I have with the joy and holly. You gave me an idea on how to use it thanks.

Wow! Beautiful cards. I love that Poinsettia flower and what you did with it. Can you tell me what company makes it? Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! Are you talking about the stamped poinsetta or the die cut one? The die cut is Sizzix Sizzlit and I just outlined it with a glitter pen. The stamp I am not sure...ummm I think I got it at Hobby Lobby. Linda

What a great idea... OSW hot card!! That would make it go a lot further with your effort. I'll have to keep that in mind myself.

I love all your Christmas cards. How long does it take you to make a wedding cake like that? It really is very pretty!

I got it all baked in one day, and then about 1 1/2 hours to ice and decorate it. That one was not as involved as some others I have done. Thanks M-C!
