New card's and Mother's Day gift

I posted the cards I did for Mother's Day and one for my dad. His college professor is retiring, and he asked me to make him a card. It was his calculs, engineering math professor, so the equation on the front is some engineer thing...lol! I also altered a picture frame for my MIL. The pic is of DH and myself from my brother's wedding last June. I have another frame for my mom, I'll post it later. TFL!

Great cards and frame. Really like the color choices on everything. I find the hardest part sometimes is 1. coming up with an idea (most of the time comes pretty easy to me) but then 2. finding the colors to co with the embellishments or pictures is tricky. You did a great job. TFS.

I love your Mother's Day cards, the colors are great. Did you use a roller stamp for the border? The two stamps look really nice together. The retirement card is cool. I love the chalkboard look of it. Your altered frame is beautiful. Your mom's will love it.

Thanks everyone. The stamp on the Mother's Day cards are from Hero Arts. The flower vase and the border were both in the set. It was in the May themed clear stamp sets. I found it at Archiver's and loved it. I have a hard time picking paper too...I dug thru my stash for about twenty minutes before I found the paper for the frame lol! I did have to bring the frame to work for some opinions from my fellow scrappers...I was debating a chipboard "L" rather than the little flourish on the frame, but everyone like the floursih better. Thanks for all the compliments!! I love being a part of this group, the ideas and friendships really inspire me.. thanks everyone...
