Cool anniversary gift!

My DH gave me my anniversary gift this morning! It isn't until tomorrow but we are going away over night tomorrow and decided to give gifts a day early. In case anyone is wondering, the 9th anniversary is scanners. I asked for and recieved a BIG scanner! I can now scan my 12 x 12 LO's!!!! I no longer have to try to stitch (which I really sucked at!) nor do I have to ask M-C to use her scanner.... My mom is already hitting me up to use it for some stuff for her! LOL

I've been busy playing with, err scanning my LO's. I have posted some. Thanks for letting me share!

A scanner-- not a bad deal at all. I know we recently purchased a scanner and I love it. Congrats on your 9th anniversary. Have fun with the scanner. Great LO's.

I had a regular scanner but I really wanted a big one. DH nearly choked on the price, but it was a really good price for what it is. When he saw it he understood, not that he complained. Just said, "that better be a heck of a scanner!".

Thanks on the congrats, I can't believe it's been 9 years!

Great gift....I am sure that it will make a big difference if you hate stitching. I see you have already uploaded several new LO's and they are great. I am all for toys....erm...I mean tools that make life a lot easier....LOL Wonder if 37th anniversary could be considered large format printer and scanner anniversary...ROFL Enjoy playing :o)

I think that the 37th is also large format printer/scanner! Lem'me look it up........yep, that's what the little paper I wrote on says! LOL I am still debating on the printer, not sure I would use it enough to justify, though they have come done so much in price.....I'll let ya know what I decide in June.

LOL....I can go ahead and tell him that then...Kenda guarantees that the

37th anniversary is large format printer/scanner.....ROFLMHO I can just visualise the steam coming out of his ears :o)

Regarding a large format printer.... I looked online a couple of weeks ago and HP do one fairly cheaply but what about the availability of suitable paper for scrapbooking. Would need to be acid-free and at a price that would make it worthwhile printing background stuff. They only seemed to offering A4 along for sale :o( I use that at present and patch if I really want something individual. I also wondered if the printers would cope with the heavier cardstock....like bazzill. I really think that you would be hard pushed to justify it for scrapbooking but we can dream!!!!

And then, I just LOVE your March Challenge! Those are the most gorgeous colours and embelishments you used, fitting to such a special day!

Thanks! Judy the scanner is a Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB. I'll try to dig the info up on it and email it to you.

M-C really helped out with the colors, and well, everything. I am no good with colors so I really needed her help.
