Actually, you have to run to the store and buy today's paper. Michael usually has 50% off coupons in the papers on holiday weekends and 40% off coupons every two weeks. In our area last week was a 40%, this week, Columbus Day is a 50% and next week should be a 40%.

HTH, M-C P.S. Sabrina, thanks for letting us know, I'd forgotten!

Thanks Sabrina but I really wish I hadn't seen this until later in the week. I hate to let the 50% off coupons go to waste! And after the damage I did at Expo....I need not buy a thing! S

Would you believe, Kenda went out of her way to get me a newpaper so that I'd have a Michael's coupon and there was no ad for Michael's in my newspaper, :( I am heartbroken. The I tried to tell the cashier what happened and told me, I can't give you the discount, I'd be in trouble and to make matters worse, when I tried to see if I could use my JoAnne's coupon the cashier asked, what's JoAnn's??? I walked out off there having bought... noting, zip, nada,. If this keeps up I'll have to give up my Flass decoder ring!!!

There wasn't one in my paper either. It seems like we get them every other week. You would think the LA Times would run them every week, but no. There is one cashier at my local Michaels that will give you the discount even though you don't have a coupon, so that is nice.

Someone must have taken mine cause Kenda had one in her paper...whaaaa...whaaaa.

Guess I should have noticed who it was that gave me the discount the last time.

Lin, I get mine in the Sunday supplement in our newspaper.

Got it! Thanks for the heads up. I fixed the kids a good breakfast then gave them some money and sent them walking to the store to get Mommy a paper. I started this ... this past summer. They are 10 and 13 and aching for some responsibility. So, I let them walk the 1 mile round trip to the grocery store. I usually give them an errand for me and a little extra to buy themselves a treat. It's funny to hear how they bargain shop to make their money go further.

Aaaaw Lynne, That brings back memories of me letting mine go...It is hard to see your babies going out into that big unfriendly world alone. Glad you got your coupon.

Oh my... Yeah Eric's mom didn't have one in hers but Aunt Shirley had one in hers and gave it to me. She said she would take me today..

Have fun shopping Tabitha!!! How are you feeling, how is the moveing in going, and is it a boy or a girl???

We dont have a michaels ad in our paper.I wonder if they mail them. The nearest michaels in 45 min. away. Lin

I go the lollipop punctuation. So now all I need is the lowercase alphabet and the numbers for the lollipop :)

I'm doing good :) Just have to keep eating.

So far so good. Still have lots to do but the kitchen and the bathrooms are in order :) Pretty much the living room. I'm working on getting my side of the big room done :) The computer part is pretty much done. Abby's play area will be in the middle and that will be the last thing :)

I find out on October 26th :) I can't wait!! :)

I got mine, but I don't think I am going to get to use it. What a waste. I have to save my money for tomorrow. I'm going to the Covered bridge festival. I'm so excited.

that sucks. Our Michael's here will give it to you whether you have the coupon or not. And if their biggest competitor is running an ad or coupon (ACMoores, who happens to be less than a block away) they'll honor their coupons too.

Sounds great Tabitha! I can't wait to find out so I can knit the baby something! What's your due date?

*smiles* Thank you M-C :) I'll be sure to let you know :) Supposedly March 14th.
