Hi there--I'm wondering if anybody knows what "crystal lacquer" actually is? Is it like a thick version of acrylic glaze? Or clear liquid sculpy? Are there any other products that give that clear dimensional look? Thanks in advance for any help! Cindy

I use both, depending on which one I find in the store when I run out. They are the same as far as I am concerned - just different brands. Sandy
I have used diamond glaze and Aleene's Paper Glaze. All of them seem to do about the same thing. I have filled in watch glass as well as bottle caps. God Bless, Dorothy in NY
I wish I could tell you what it actually is. I've only used Crystal Effects from SU. I guess it's like an acrylic glaze, because it cleans up with soap and water like acrylics do. I like it for the dimensional look it gives, it dries clear, and you can also brush it on in a thin layer. I've used it before to make letter tiles.
