Deb's has a new Layout

I know because I posted it for her, that Deb finished and posted a layout to the group. I follow two different servers and still I have neither seen her post or any response to it. So... just in case that you're like me and can't see her post, her layout is on MY webshot account in an album on the second page called Deb in AR. The reson that it is hidden there is so that its supposed to be a surprise and this way we hope her family will not know about it.

Hopefully, Deb can let us know what else she said in the post we never got to see.

I'll try responding to my original post. Maybe someone can see it then. (It must be playing hide and seek!)

Deb, Thanks for sharing this layout. It's a very special letter and you did a great job scrapping it.

Thanks! MC helped with the embellishment, so I have to give her proper credit. :-) She had these cute little vellum tags in the shape of a flower, which just fit perfectly with the flowers I stamped for the background. She also had some wonderful charms and the butterfly charm fit perfectly on the vellum tag! Thank you MC for letting me have some of your wonderful treasures. It's part of a memory book for my parents. They're pretty special people.

I remember, MC has a store in her house. How lucky you are indeed to have an awesome friend like her to share her stash with you. I can't wait to see the rest of the layouts for this album.

I stamped the background. :-) I wanted a 70's kind of look for the background and was thinking of stamping little swirls. But once I sat down to actually make the LO, the purple florals just sounded good!

Me?? Give lessons..... *blush* Oh I don't think so. I'm still learning about scrapbooking! If scrapbooking were equivalant to school, I would say I'm in junior high...curious enough to wonder, and old enough to start getting myself in trouble! LOL

Hi Deb,

I saw your LO today and it is very touching. I love all the journaling you did. The background stamping looks very nice and you're right that flower tag matches perfectly!

Thanks Lynne. This particular LO, I didn't journal. The letter is from a family friend to my parents. This will probably be one of those albums I won't have to do TONS of journaling with...WHEW!
