Destressing and scrapping

Mar 22, 2006 11 Replies

Boy it has been a heck of a week.

Larry was in the hospital due to a minor stroke (he's 40) but is home but we have to keep going for tests because they can't pinpoint what exactly happened.

Then my elderly cousins are really really sick. Suzie (who is 86) fell while taking out the trash and broke her wrist and now has bronchitis. Her husband Mac, who hasn't been well for some time, slipped in the kitchen and broke his elbow and gave himself a concussion. Their children (one lives in CT and the other lives in PA) have been rotating visitations but my sister and I are now into the loop and I'm gonna head over to Walbaums to pick up a few veggies, fruits, and easy to eat meals. I'll also make several loaves of bread.

So to keep me sane I did the following layouts:

I hope you like them. Hugs to all, Kate

I do like them! Keep up the good work and I hope everyone starts feeling better. You're right the Halloween ribbon is very cool.

Lynne

Those are really good. I love the colors and the journaling on the first one. That is very sweet.

Hope things start looking up for your family. I'll be saying a prayer for you and your loved ones...

That's quite a scare! Hopefully they'll find out exactly what caused Larry's stroke. My sis had a mini-stroke several years ago. She was somewhere between 23 & 25 years old. Thankfully, they were able to find out what caused it. The only side effect was a 'blind spot' in her vision, but it's gotten smaller and smaller. It was a while before she could legally drive, but it didn't take too long for her to be able to drive again. I'll be praying for a lot of good news for you guys!

The LO's look wonderful. I really like the ultrasound LO's. The pink and black just look so good together!

Oh Kate:>( So sorry for all you're going through right now. Hang in there & I hope everything turns out okay

Really scary about Larry's stroke Wow! only 40.

On the up side, your LO's look great:>).

Prayers going your way

LOL!! First of all Kate when I read the title, I had to guffaw at ya!! I thought to myself Scrapping is distressing?! well for some I guess it is and I have to be a part of that too. It frustrates me when stuff is not organized, I can't remember what I have, I can't find what I want or need, AAARRGGGHH!! It is distressing - LOL!!

Anyhow geesh, i got to put YOU and yours on top of my PRAYER ritual!! Anyhow many thoughts and prayers going out to ya!!

((HUGS!!))

p.s. I'll look at the lo's later. will forward them to pc where it works MUCHO faster - LOL!

I like all of them but I LOVE the sonogram ones!

Hope things get better for you soon.

I'm so sorry to hear about Larry and your cousins. I hope they find out what caused the stroke soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

The pages are great. I love the sonogram pages, very cute.

I am starting to wonder if my posts are showing up and I m the one who's not seeing them. I know that I responded to this one.

At any rate Kate, I sure hope that things are going better for all of you. Are you available for lunch either Sunday, Monday or Tuesday? I am staying at the New Yorker which is right near Macy's and Penn Station.

Have a great day, M-C

M-C,

It was great talking to you on the telephone. Larry just reminded me that his doctor's appointment is at 9:30 a.m. and we can go into the city by the afternoon.

So how about we meet Monday afternoon around 1 ish? We'll meet you at the hotel. I'll also bring my books with me.

If your phone has caller id, you can call me back once you are settled or email me at kateinterrante at aol.com

Kate

I hope all in your family are getting better. I'll keep them all and you in my thoughts.

Great layouts Kate.
