Haven't been scrapping...

But like the rest of you I've been making cards. I have three friends having problems with their men, so I made 3 cards on Sunday. Like Deb it took me 4 hours to do 3 cards. haha The kicker is the next day I noticed that a word wasn't misspelled, but I had left off and "S" to pluralize it. Dog gone it! I've reprinted that layer and will be dismantling tomorrow. Man I just couldn't believe all the trouble I went to... to make sure it was spelled right and punctuate correctly. I'll be posting the correct version tomorrow.

I haven't been scrapping much either. I did go to a card camp on Friday and made some really cute Christmas cards. Only have a few more to go. I do have two albums for Christmas that just need to have the pictures added. Those were also made at a Stampin Up class. I'm not sure when I'll get back to my room...lol

Can't wait to see the cards. I'm sure they're great..even with the misspelling..lol

Oh don't even think it didn't occur to me to leave it as is.... then I thought I could draw an "S" on there and it would look identical to the already printed one.... but then I thought the inks wouldn't match. Soooooo, last night I got around to dismantling and reassembling. It went way easier than I thought. Except for the one I removed the misspelling and replaced the misspelled piece and glue it all back together. Grrrrrrr... ripped a part gently ... torn up misspelled piece as to not use it again and then assembled with correct piece.

The card can be seen in my cards album. I did 3 of the same card. It's called "Men or Chocolate".

Great job on the card Lynne...it is gorgeous :o)

Take care, Marilyn

Thank you Marilyn. Not trying to sound boastful, but I was really proud of how the card turned out myself. I totally copied the design, but I had to figure it out myself.

Lynne....I wouldn't consider it "boastful" when something you do enhances your confidence in your abilities. :o) It is easy to be inspired by something you see....it is not easy to translate that into something tangle. That is were your own talent and ingenuity take over!!

Fabulous Card Lynne!

Love it Lynne! You should be very proud of it, too.
